Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Hoa community. Our goal is for you to meet new people in a friendly, safe, and fun environment. To achieve this, we've created some basic rules to follow, and breaking them may result in content removal or account blocking.

Be yourself

Our goal is for you to make friends you can meet in real life, so to do that, you need to be yourself. Therefore, we ask that your name and age be real, and we recommend that you have at least one profile picture showing your face. The account can only belong to one person; sharing accounts is not allowed.

Personal information

For your own safety, do not post any private information about yourself or anyone else. This includes phone numbers, email addresses, home/work addresses, financial information, and passwords, among other things.
You should also not share your account with anyone, as this could compromise the personal information you have posted. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and ensuring its security.

I respect

At Hoa, we strive to be an inclusive community, and we expect the same from you. Don't treat others the way you wouldn't want to be treated.
At Hoa we will not allow any type of discrimination based on factors such as, but not limited to, race, gender, identity, sexual orientation, religion or any other aspect that may be offensive to any member of the community.
No threats, intimidation, or incitement to violence will be permitted.

Requirements for texts and photos

The text and photos you put on your profile should show who you are, your tastes, and hobbies. Under no circumstances should they include:

• Pornography or explicit content
• Illegal, violent, or offensive content
• Advertising content
• Unaccompanied minors

Minors

To use Hoa, you must be at least 18 years old. Accordingly, posting photos of unaccompanied minors is not permitted. If you want to upload photos of your children, you must also be in the photo with them.
Hoa reserves the right to verify profiles where there is reasonable doubt about age falsification, and may request a screenshot of the user's identification document. If you suspect a user is under 18 or find a profile with photos of unaccompanied minors or that depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive manner, please report it immediately.

How to report

Within the application there are three options:

1. Report a post
   You can anonymously report a post by clicking on the three-dot symbol located in the bottom right corner of the post.
2. Report a profile
   You can anonymously report a profile by opening it and clicking on the blue icon with the three dots symbol.
3. Report a response
   You can anonymously report a response by swiping it to the left and clicking on the red icon with the exclamation mark.

Hoa reserves the right to investigate and/or cancel your account without granting any refund for purchases if you have misused the service or behaved in a manner that Hoa considers inappropriate, illegal, or in violation of the Terms of Use.
